Members of the card - which is available only by invitation - must have an annual income of at least $500,000. They will also need to pay a yearly fee of $2,000 for the privilege of brandishing the new DBS Insignia Visa Infinite card.

For the fee, cardholders are promised access to renowned wine makers in Bordeaux and 'intimate dining experiences with Michelin-starred chefs', among other gilded experiences.
'We have designed a suite of privileges showcasing the best of what Asia and the world has to offer,' DBS head of cards and unsecured loans Ooi Huey Tyng said.
The card will be hand-delivered to those who accept the invitation to join. Welcome gifts include a St Regis Astor Card, two nights' free stay at selected hotels, and 50,000 air miles, DBS said.

New Visa Insignia Infinite Card for the Super-Affluent

On March 25, DBS Singapore hosted a glitzy gala dinner at the St. Regis Singapore to commemorate the launch of its Insignia Visa Infinite card. Billed as the card in Singapore with the highest starting credit limit of SGD 1 million, the DBS Insignia Visa Infinite caters to the super-affluent in Singapore.

The first in the world to feature the new Visa premium brandmark and the only in Singapore to be layered with a metal film, the invitation-only card will bear the member's insignia on its face. Designed to draw instant recognition to the bearer's name, the card allows access to Asia's most exclusive clubs, travel and dining experiences.
The hundred guests at the private event were treated to a one-night only performance by international jazz superstar, Laura Fygi, and enjoyed a specially created spread by renowned chefs of Asian fusion cuisine Susur Lee of Chinois, Michael Han of Fifty-Three and Chef William Tan from St. Regis.
